Pastry chef (Expat)

 

Job Description

Demonstrate creative baking and decorating skills while leading and training the team to improve results while managing pastry kitchen to meet all quality, hygiene & operating standards with understanding of HACCP. Works to continually improve guest satisfaction and maintaining the operating budget.

 

Qualifications:

  • Male or Female
  • Culinary school background
  • Minimum 4 years experience in similar position
  • Good English writing and speaking skills
  • Excellent in Pastry, Food ingredient and trends (knowledge and skill)
  • Very good creative skills to enhance buffet presentations
  • Experience with HACCP Standard
  • Computer literate
  • Friendly & professional relationship with all staff and management 
  • Energetic, hands-on, result oriented, motivated
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills
  • Mature, professional outlook.
  • Able to co-ordinate the day to day pastry kitchen operation and works under the Executive Chef.
