The Rembrandt Hotel recently was presented the 2011 Gold Circle Award by Agoda, one of the biggest online hotel reservation services.

Each year, Agoda considers the outstanding hotel partners by presenting them with a Gold Circle Award. Rembrandt Hotel welcomed Ryan Blair

The Rembrandt Hotel proudly welcomed Ryan Blair, one of Asia’s top adventure sport athletes, co-founder of a Group of outdoor companies and Director of The North Face, Garmin, & Specialized-sponsored Champion System Adventure athlete team for his stay in Bangkok.

Ryan and his teammate Saman Gunan, one of the greatest Thai adventure racers, have just won The Essilor Bangkok Eco Challenge 2011”, a part of the Amazing Adventure Race Series under the concept “Racing for a greener Bangkok” sponsored by the Rembrandt Hotel. The race took place at Nong Chok, on Saturday February 11th.

Ryan has won many of the region’s top adventure races –including Action Asia Challenge 3 times – and has recently captained his team to a 6th place finish in the Worlds leading stage adventure race, Redbull Wu Long Mountain Quest.

Cuban Night Thank you Party at Rembrandt Hotel

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba has hosted a “Cuban Night Thank You Party” at Rembrandt’s ballroom on Thursday February 2nd.

The Cuban Embassy would like to take this opportunity to thank all other diplomatic missions and embassies in Thailand for their support for the past year. The party featured the best of Cuban culture with authentic food, live music, specialty drinks and dance.

Brought the taste for authentic Cuban famous specialties such as Cuban Papas Rellenas, Cuban Ropa Viwja, Receta De Yuca Con Mojo, Bolas De Queso Con Chillies and much more giving diners a full culinary journey through Cuba.

The Rembrandt Hotel donated the used calendars

The Rembrandt Hotel brought more than 400 used calendars from last year and donated them to the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Patronage of H.M. the Queen on Tuesday Jan 17th.

Khun Parika Maneeprem, Rembrandt’s training manager, and a staff of the Foundation for the Blind.

The School for the Blind utlizes these calendars to make a Braille cards as educational materials for students. In addition to the used calendar, donations of used A4 paper, both single page and double pages, with a thickness of 80 grams or more were also donated.
