Tracey Malone is currently displaying her art work at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bangkok.
This is her story:
With a background in Costume and Textile Design I am continually drawn to colour, detail and texture in my photography. Whilst in India I was transfixed by the vibrant colours of the Saris and Indian costumes.
The Kumbh Mela was a special event as there were pilgrims from all parts of India, each wearing colours and textiles specific to their region. I purposely chose to print and display these rich vibrant images onto Aluminium Boards without mounts and frames as I felt this was the way in which to show this group of colourful pictures at their best.
I was also fascinated by the colour, detail and texture in the Indian architecture as shown in my set of `Arches,` these arches were all taken inside the Agra Red Fort. This set of prints are best exhibited on the canvas frames which show the tones, shadows and ornate detail of these arches.
All prints on aluminium boards displayed measure 16” x 24” These are priced at 4,000Bt
All Arches prints are displayed on canvas and measure 10” x 15” These are priced at
2,000 Bt each These can be purchased in sets of three. Please contact traceymalone1@mac.com
