The Rembrandt Hotel supports the School Rice Project

The Rembrandt Hotel coordinated with Business for Rural Education And Development (B.R.E.A.D) to support the rice from Burrirum local school. The Rembrandt Hotel now starts serving the guests the high-quality organic jasmine rice provided by the School Rice Project grown by the local farmers around community center in Burirum province.

    The planting and harvesting process are involved by students, teachers and parents from Mechai Pattana School with the support of Thai Rice College producing authentic 100 percent jasmine rice. It is pleasure of the Rembrandt Hotel to become one of the sustainable sources of incomes for the local community and B.R.E.A.D will donate all of its profits to Meechai Pattana School and other Population Development Association effort in the local community.

    The Meechai Pattana school is a great example of innovative school in Thailand providing an education for the local children for free while develop both the student intellect and character and exposes them to every thing from basic agriculture techniques to cutting edge technology. The school also serves as a development centre for the local community giving them access the education, training and sustainable living.

    As a friendly-family hotel, Rembrandt is proud to support program for kids to prosper and grow as they become future leaders. Rembrandt offers many child friendly services and facilities including the kid’s corner at the famous Sunday Brunch at Rang Mahal, as well as many other family friendly initiatives.

    The Rembrandt Hotel is honored to support the local community and schools such as the by supporting the 3rd Annual NIST (New International School of Thailand) Golf Tournament and joined the Season Greeting project to donate to Wat Klang School in Ayudhya to help recovery efforts from the recent flood situation such as these as a part of its social responsibility efforts to provide future generations with the educational facilities they need to grow.
