The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA Thailand Chapter) and Skal Thailand, a leading professional organization of tourism, hosted its joint annual Christmas luncheon at the ballroom of the Rembrandt hotel on Thursday December 13th.

In attendance were esteemed from both local and overseas members of the hospitality industry. The event featured specially prepared items ranging from the award-winning restaurants signature.

The event was full of delicious Christmas fare and carols, camaraderie, fund raising for charity. The members of PATA Thailand Chapter and Skål Thailand also donated 70,000 THB for The Fatima Self-Help Centre, run by Sister Louise Thailand, where offers girls and women, mainly from the nearby slums and government housing, the possibility of learning basic skills that enables them to earn a decent living in a respectful and friendly environment.

Rembrandt Hotel is an active participant in all industry related associations such as Skål, PATA and HSMAI promoting cooperation and camaraderie amongst industry professionals.

Jackson Ferguson, Director of Sales and Marketing, was quoted saying “events such as these are great for sharing new ideas and concepts that will bring the industry forward in a positive manner.”
