The Bangkok chapter of the Confrerie du Sabre d’Or would like to invite you to save the date on May 3rd 2011 for another illustrious evening of food, champagne and great fun at the Rembrandt Hotel.
Joining us from Paris is Jean Claude Jalloux, Grand Master of the brotherhood, as well as Mr. Roger and Thomas Begault from the esteemed house of Duval for an unforgettable evening in celebration of the noble art of sabrage. This evening will highlight the exquisite Champagnes of Duval Leroy and the culinary talents of our new Executive Chef, Chef Andrew, for a brilliant evening.
The Confrerie du Sabre d’Or (Brotherhood of the Golden Sabre) is a prestigious association that promotes the art of sabrage and the enjoyment of Champagne, founded in France over 25 years ago, the brotherhood currently boasts 30,000 members with events around the world that celebrate the 200 year old technique of opening a chilled Champagne bottle with a saber, knocking off the glass collar surrounding the cork.
